1. Enable the Push to mute Setting
Push to Mute is a Discord feature where you need to hold a specific Keyboard Key to disable your mic activity while in Voice Activity mode.
Here are the steps to enable the PUSH TO MUTE setting on discord:
- Open the Discord app and click on the User Settings (a geared icon).
- Select Keybinds from the App Settings.
- Click on Add a keybind and select Push to Mute from the Action bar.
- Record your keybind by typing the desired keyboard key you want to use.
- Click Apply to save changes.
Now, whenever you click and hold that desired key. Your microphone will be muted. Otherwise, you will be audible whenever you are not holding the key.
